No, I definitely think it is unfair. I mean, in school all students should be treated the same. I don't know if it's racism, but it certainly is unfair and sick. I suffered from this too. I am a white girl, and I sware. Right now I am old enough to control myself, but when I was younger, I used to curse and sware like a madman. However, it usually had a reason, as self-defense or anger. My classmates used to be f***ing assholes, and we always fought. But those people were mostly guys and no one cared about their curses. Whenever I cursed, all the teachers yelled and threatened. And I was a straight A student too. So what can I say? It could be racism or prejudice against women, these days, you never know. Or it could be because the teachers are idiots these days, or maybe the first teen is more liked, as in his parents are rich or stupid s**t like that. I hate that. Don't worry. Stuff like this happens all the time. They say there is no more racism, or that women and men are the same, but it's a lie. Stupid people are the reason for this. My advice, don't get too angry, it won't be the first or the last time. If it happens to you, fight back. You can do it, you are smarter than them.

Please stop with the race card. Race has nothing to do with it. Maybe the person said something worse, or maybe the one teacher was more insulted by it. Life isn't fair and that is that. I have worse stories about school being unfair than that one. I mean come on. If life was to suddenly become fair, it wouldn't happen in high school. Try being the only girl in an all guy class, along with being the only one without Hispanic blood of any kind, being pushed through the gym doors by your teacher to attend a Cinco De Miayo ( spelling may be off on that one)celebration that is only in Spanish. Or, the only only on for the war in Iraq in an art class, Where the next three days the assignment was to make war protest signs and have a protest in the parking lot. Getting three zeros in a row and having the school board back up your hippie teacher. These are a few examples. Please get over yourself.

Also, why is this in the history section? It should be in the school section.

The Second Teen, said the wrong thing, at the wrong time, in front of the wrong Teachers that had enough of the Teen nonsense that goes on in the school system today.

you have to learn that not everything has to do with race... or does it? well, you are making it a race issue when perhaps it wasn't. it all depends on what you say, how you say it, and the people involved. just because your black doesn't mean you can always blame everything on white people. be responsible for your own actions. they do matter. I'm not saying that what happened to you was right because i don't know the details, but the fact of the matter is, you did something wrong obviously and you are being punished.

I think that life is never fair. Most people are selfish. Don't expect fair but stand up for justice> And not just your own: Selflessness will give you the sense of power and pride you had taken from you.

If like were fair, no one would be mentally or physically disabled--and students wouldn't swear in school.

No it is not fair. The worst part is that the students learn that the teachers have a bias attitude, and color does make a difference. Unfortunately that's life.
