If he beats girls then you should prevent him from ever doing it again. People like that believe that girls deserve what they get. He would think he has done nothing wrong and would expect you to forgive him. Pretend you want him back, say that you're sorry (even though you've done nothing wrong) Then jam a knife between his balls and up into his groin. Destroy him sexually so that he can never beat another woman again.
