depends on where you are cramping - muscle cramps are normal, abdominal cramps are not. Your hormones are so out of whack right now just about anything could be considered normal but anything that worries you you should definitely ask your Doctor about.

Severe, painful cramps should be evaluated by a doctor...but little aches and pains types of cramps not accompanied by bleeding are perfectly normal. Headaches are also perfectly normal. I've had some of my best migraines during pregnancy. Loads of fun. You're at a stage in your pregnancy where your symptoms will be the worst, and will usually peak and dwindle after 10 weeks or so.

Unfortunately, these symptoms aren’t unique to pregnancy. They can indicate you are getting sick or that your period is about to start. Likewise, you can be pregnant without experiencing any of these symptoms. The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy. Pregnancy signs include: 1. Implantation Bleeding 2. Delay/Difference in Menstruation 3. Swollen/Tender Breasts 4. Fatigue/Tiredness 5. Nausea/Morning Sickness 6. Backaches 7. Headaches 8. Frequent Urination 9. Darkening of Areolas 10. Food Cravings However if you want a confirmed answer on whether you are pregnant or not, there are two alternatives that you can seek. The first alternative is to take a home pregnancy test kit one week or so after your missed period. If you are really pregnant, the pregnancy stick will able to detect it due to your high hormones level. Another alternative is to see and doctor and had blood test done. After all, this will be a more accurate but expensive method to check out one’s pregnancy.

Well, how bad are the cramps? It's perfectly normal to have a crampy sensation during the first trimester while the uterus stretches to make room for baby! I felt that and it was sometimes like mild period cramps! So, chances are that's all it is. And headaches just come with the hormones :)
Unless the cramping is sudden or sharp or accompanied with bleeding/spotting, try not to worry and bring it up at your next appointment with the OB/midwife.

Cramps and headaches are normal..If you see any spotting seek a dr immediately..If the cramps are unbarrable go to the dr. Your body is adjusting to being pregnant and making room for the baby to grow. sometimes your cramps will come from that..the headaches are because of the changes in hormon levels in your body..be patient it gets better. I had cramping and sever migraines in early pregnancy, after that i felt pretty good.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Headaches are ok to be experiencing...your body is adjusting to the different hormone levels. You can be experiencing cramps, but if they are followed with bleeding, sharp pain, or blood clots go see your obgyn right away (signs of misscarriage) Do your cramps occur after intercourse or after strenuous activity? At about nine wks you might still have morning sickness, your breasts may still be sore (wear a supportive bra), and you may start noticing some heartburn and indigestion now. Congrats and good luck to you!

cramps CAN be normal sometimes it is your body rejusting to the baby. "stretching" I got REAL scared when I had them and the doctor told me everything was fine. The headaches I STILL get those are normal as well. SOME people are lucky and does NOT get them I know I did not with my other kids and this one had to be different! I am 17 almost 18 weeks! CONGRATS

Yes totally normal! Your body will do alot of things to make you wonder about throughout your whole pregnancy! The best advice I can give is educate yourself! Get a pregnancy week by week book! They are so helpful! Also take childbirth classes. No they are NOT just for natural childbirth! I am so glad I went. I would have put myself through torture during childbirth! There are also alot of weekly websites. Some good ones are...
babyzone.com
pregnancyweekly.com
earthmamaangelbaby.com
But the books are really the best! You can get one anywhere they sell books. They are really informative and it gives you something to look for ward to each week! Good luck and congrats! Please feel free to contact me! I love to talk about little angels! E-mail me or catch me on myspace.com/babeechick
