Dear gals, My husband insists on me getting a Brazilian Waxing and apply Henna on the Lower abdomen and the Vagina. It does look beautiful, and it turns my husband on , but of late it is causing a bit of an irritation. My husband uses KY Jelly. Is this the cause ? I heard that Henna is natual and harmless.

Henna never causes irritation. Actually it was being used as a healer to the wounds and skin irritation from a long times. But now a days some manufactureres add certain chemical dyes to enhance the pigmentation. Just avoid using any of these dye based products. and if u can, arrange fresh henna leaves to make paste of that. it will surely cure any type of irritation. In ur case it has nothing to do with KY jelly or the wax. Just remember to get henna paste from a reliable soure thats it.

henna as in a dye? i think it is a natural colourant, either in the form of hair dye or an ink which can be used for semi-permanent tatooing. is that what you mean? well, a little weird.... but anyway. well i love brazillians - so clean and fresh. but you must maintain and protact your sensitie skin, as the pubes are not there to do it for you. you need to consult with an expert (your waxer will have some advise) as to what type of products you should use (moisturisers etc) and what courseness of a loofa to use. KY is excellent, however sometimes can cause a little irritation.

at the start take a warm bath or bathe. This open up pores which reduces the possibility of razor burn or bumps. Wait till the tip of your bath or bathe to shave. formerly shaving exfoliate the floor gently making use of a comfortable physique scrub. ensure you have a pointy razor, and constantly use shaving cream. I try this, and that i infrequently ever get bumps or razor burn.
