I don't have a puter at home because I am poor, I use it at work, but I shall be buying one when I am made redundant.
I need for tinternet, itunes, and basic office stuff and ideally would like a wireless one, with around a 17" screen.

Go to an office supply store like Office Depot or Staples and tell them what it is that you need and would like to have in a laptop and they should be able to find something to fit your needs.

first you should buy it from a computer store so you can get a warranty with it, second a laptop with 17" inch screen will be a lettle bit pricey, third go to dell website they have a website special for refurbeshed computers with alot of discount and you will find a one you like, this the link to it

Go to CircuitCity.com and look at the Gateway tablet notebook. It has great reviews and at a not too bad price.
