Generally, it's bleeding but yes, there's also other symptoms!

Stomach pain (severe cramping), nausea and fever can all go along with a miscarriage.

If you think you are, go see a doctor immediately. If your baby has died in your stomach, you can get blood poisoning if your body has not expelled it.

Believe it or not, I've even heard of a woman who didn't bleed so she didn't think she had a miscarriage until green discharge came out of her body. She was seven months pregnant and the doctor's had estimated that the baby had died 2 weeks earlier.

Now, I would think that I would have been clued in when the baby didn't move for two weeks, wouldn't you?

Again, go see a doctor -- especially if you could feel the baby move and it hasn't in awhile.

Headaches can be simply a symptom of the pregnancy this is fairly common - stomach cramps - well depending on how along you are cramp feelings could just be your stomach area stretching and moving - if you feel the symptoms are a possible miscarriage then go straight to the Dr

I spotted a couple weeks and then woke up bleeding like a period. I didn't have any cramping at all until after the baby actually miscarried. Then I had contractions, I am not going to lie either it was very painful. No one ever told me you can have contractions when you miscarry. I had to have a dnc to make sure all the tissue was out.

I guess every one is different because I was EARLY when I had my miscarriage and I had NO signs that I was miscarrying the ONLY reason I knew is because I had had blood taken and I was 3 weeks when I had mine although like I said EVERYONE is different some women have cramps to go with it as well as other signs. BEST WISHES

With my first miscarriage I had a headache. I went to see the Dr and the baby was already dead. With my second I had bleeding.

Well, you can have what's called a "missed miscarriage" withough bleeding. That's where the baby dies but your body just doesn't let it go or doesn't realize that it's died.

When you have a complete miscarriage, though, there would be bleeding and there may or may not be cramping.
