Go to the pharmacy and ask. I was over there tonite, and generic Claritin was $11.00 +, so it might be for a 30 day supply, this was for 60 day - does not sound like $4.00 to me......You need a .list of those certain drugs. Probably a very small list maybe.

i dont think they have decided on the details yet. its really a publicity stunt, most of the drugs they are making $4 are probably already less than $10 anyway. and the service at walmart is horrible, youre going to be standing in line 2 hours to save a couple bucks

Correction: they never said ALL generics would be $4...they said, "For as little as $4," meaning some would be higher. Your best strategy would be to call your local Wal-Mart directly and ask them for a list of generics and their prices.
The last I heard, CostCo still had by far the lowest prescription drug costs.

This program is only available in some areas of Florida. Wal Mart is testing the program in an area will a large senior citizen population. This will be a gradual roll-out.
Watch the news in your area for when it will go into effect.

they've not started it yet. It begins at select Wal-marts in the Tampa area, then goes to Florida, then nationwide. Don't hold your breath .......it's gonna be a short list. It is another Wal-mart dirty trick designed to hurt or drive out the competition, then they will rescind it.
A few predictions:
- all will be quantities of 30 or less.
- none will be narcotics
- they will require 'special handling' i.e. a big wait!
- you cannot have prescription coverage and will have to prove it.
- it will be gone in 2 years

THERE IS A LIST OF 200 ITEMS AND NOT JUST PRESCRIPTIONS. THERE ARE OTHER PHARMACY ITEMS
ON THERE. CALL WAL-MART, BUT NOTE IT IS ONLY IN
SOME WAL-MARTS IN FLORIDA. NOW THAT TARGET IS
GOING TO MATCH, LOOK FOR WAL-MART TO GO LOWER.
CAUSE WE ALL KNOW WAL-MART N' TARGET ARE AT A
TUG A WAR. I FIND WAL-MART TRYING TO BE LIKE TARGET
IN SOME WAYS, AND TARGET TRYING TO BEAT WAL-MART
AT ANYTHING. SO I WOULDN'T BE TO SURPRISE IF WAL-MART GOES TO 3.50 OR MAYBE $3.00.
