Gosh..three hours ago?? are there no people here proud of any achievement in their life.??...amazing...
I am proud to say, I wrote a song for the Chinese people living in China .. "Cries for Freedom"...I wrote it six days after Tianamen Square massacre..my reasons, not monetary, not political..but to give them hope for their desire to have democracy..
To get this aired in their country I had to bypass their governments and ours..which I managed to do..obviously I cant say on here, the how..but to this day, twice a year, it is still heard there...It was played also at the world peace conference in France at that time, and I met Dr. Haing Nor because of my lyrics, before his untimely death..so many memories and so much to be told about this achievment by one person, and yes, it did make a difference, slight, but still a difference...(perhaps, bigger footprints to come in my old age, I hope so..)
Good question...
