I have a crush on this girl at work(which is a fast food joint) She is pretty, and hard working, but is also quiet. Sometimes I will catch her looking at me. Ushally when she is around , I getclomsey and can barley speek. I try to stay away so I don't make a fool out of my self. She works nights and I work mornings, and I will work with her for a little while before the shift changes. I probley won't approch her. Advice from anyone would help, but advice from a lesbian who actually done this will be more helpfull.

Sure, tell her you like her - maybe she likes you too and is shy.
Nothing gained - nothing lost.

If you can and are willing to get another job, go ahead and get to know her - just have in the plan getting another job at the start of a relationship. Work place romances can lead to awkward and ultimately bad situations. They are not a good idea for many reasons - including finding out that work is the only thing you really have in common after you've got a lot of emotion invested. But, hey, if the particular job is not a critical factor in your life, no point letting it get in your way of meeting someone. Use the situation to your advantage. Talk to her. Go with simple chit-chat, see if you have common ground for conversation. Ask her about how she gets on there as another lesbian... and take the cues she gives as a guide. Just figure out how important this job is to you first!

I was so into a girl I worked with that I dumped my gf of two years! I was convinced this girl liked me and I would catch her looking at me and stuff and the usual flirting. I read into everything....Apart from the fact that she was straight and when she got a bf I was gutted. Then people in my work place found out about me liking her and I was so embarassed I just left! So tread carefully! Just see her as a good bonus to coming into work.

Be careful with that, because you obviously have no problem imagining all the positive things that you could get out of it. Don't forget all the negative things that could happen if something goes wrong (ie. losing your job). Good rule of thumb is don't do or say anything at or about work EVER that you wouldn't want EVERYONE including the boss to hear or know about.

Even if dating is allowed at work, I live by the saying that even a dog doesn't s*&% where it eats. In other words, too much trouble CAN come from a relationship at work. While your boss may tolerage dating, will the tolerate fighting? Could you fall in love, and then go through a horrible break up where you could bear to see her or hear her voice, even someone speaking her name, so you had to quit? Just don't start, you won't have a bad ending!

I had a relationship with a co-worker and when it turned pear-shaped I had to resign.
Just ask her if she wants to go for a drink one day and see how you get along.
Be prepared though, if something goes wrong it's a given that someone will have to leave.

Nah I do not even think like that at work.
Due to sexual harassment in the work place I decided to not f*ck around and get fired for some bullsh*t

IF she is interested, and you ACT as if you are receptive, she make make the move. IF she does not, then get about your life and work...forget about it. You do not need a mark on your employment record for harrassment. Good luck

Don't you think it's a little presumptious & narcisstic of you to assume that she is a lesbian too? Remember, when you assume, you make an *** out of u & me.....
