Make sure that there is good drainage near the pavers to reduce this problem and it will fade over time.Avoid adding additional water to the system. In general any wet process cleanup converts the buildup to a solution which is re-deposited onto the surface to reappear when the brick dries. In many cases the use of a dry method cleanup will help to reduce or prevent a re-occurrence of efflorescence

Hydrocloric acid mixed with water, not sure of the ratio but would be more water i would think..look for a product called "Brick clean" or "Brickclean"

there is a mild acid solution made for this it is basicaly a very diluted solution of muriatic acid but you can probably purchase a premixed version at a masonry supply or try www.unilock.com

Power wash them, then after they have dried good put sealer on them. Sealer is also great to keep you from ever having to tuck point them in the future
