Just practice running. Run farther and faster each time. Do this at least 3 days a week. You determine your own goals by finding out by trial and error, how much it is practical to increase and how often. It's as simple as that, but you can make it more complicated if you want to.

The running faster as you progress will increase your speed.The running farther will increase your muscular endurance, and if you run for at least 20 minutes 3 X Week, you will increase your cardiovascular endurance.
