This can be due to depression , thyroid or any other number of reasons. See your doctor.

Be sure too that you are getting good meals. If you are not eating enough your body wants to store fat and obviously eating too much will cause you to gain too. Either of these can be caused by being depressed. Get some sunshine each day and get out for a 20 minute walk each day. This will get the adrenaline pumping and is very good if it is depression.

Be sure to find things to do that you enjoy too. Get out once in a while and meet new friends Go to the library, the coffee shop, somewhere where you get away for a while and are not isolated. Good luck and though I offer advise please see a doctor about it.

Small frequent meals, short power walks or other brief exercises that get the heart pumping, go to bed at a reasonable hour...try to get a full 8 hours in. Stress can cause weight gain and cause you to feel tired. By having 6 small meals a day you will keep your blood sugar and energy level up and not be so inclined to eat things that aren't so great for you just for the energy boost.

Did you know that housework, like vacuuming and ironing can burn hundreds of calories an hr? And a tip i regularly hear given to moms is to play with their kids, which would help them bond AND burn calories. Make sure you get 7-9hrs of sleep, but not too much sleep or youl get even more lethargic. You can take a short nap with your kids if you like. I think you also need to change your eating habits. Start a healthy meal plan for the whole family. Include lots of vegetables ( I love steamed asparagus, mushrooms and cauliflower, with a little salt, which = to only about 60 calories!!! altogether!) fruits (natural source of sugar..i used to like fresh strawberries which i could dip in a naturaly low cal sugar like splenda or tropicana) and enough protein to build muscles ( tuna has about 150 cal per serving!!!) its really easy!! Also, relax, go to a spa, or go shopping, anything to de-stress and enjoy urself. If you worry too much it wont help AND ull be releasing stress hormones which keeps you from losing weight. Oh and exercise an hr a day, 2/3days a week. Youll feel really good, trust me. Good Luck! and just be happy :)

Seems to me that you are in a rut and need to make some time for yourself and break the viscious cycle. (This may seem impossible), but you show all the signs of burnout. Exercise will be beneficial to help with all three of the problems you stated. It will help with the fatique, weight gain and help you to refocus and not feel so overwhelmed. You dont neccesarily have to join a gym, either. Go for a walk or bike ride (you can even do this with your kids, if they are small, and this will be great for them too.

Garden of Life is the brand and the product is called Perfect Food. It is a green powder drink. It mixes with water and tastes like grass (you get used to that part). It is all of the green veggies you need. It gives an energy boost and cleans you out in a digestive kind of way. There are other green drinks like this, but I like this one best.

If you haven't seen your doctor yet I think you should go to see your doctor and explain your chronic fatigue and I'm sure the doctor will do blood work. I know you have small children but when you get exhausted you need to rest.
