Nobody is looking for Iranian Currency in Lucknow, India. You might want to go to a national bank for such an exchange otherwise you might get ripped off on the street.

Probably better to keep it as a souvenir. 1000 Iranian rials is about US $0.12 or about 6 Indian rupees.
