put something on ebay, set up a paypal account - free to do and can be done via ebay, get the money for the item you are selling paid immediately by paypal, - only trouble is if you transfer it to you bank account it takes around 3 days! But you can use it immediately to pay for other paypal items - or you can get people to pay by escrow, you get your money asap
