This is such a tragedy. Losing a friend is so very hard, and the fact that their death was unfair makes matters even worse. You have my sympathy.
Yes, I agree with you about having some type of test for tourists to pass before they are allowed to drive in another country, and I include the US in this as well.
It is sad about the dogs too.

My heart goes out to you. Yes, tourist should take a road test before they drive on foreign roads. Americans are expected to respect foreign law while traveling and driving laws should be given top priority. When I travel, I don't drive for this exact reason. You should write a letter to a higher office in your country explaining tourist should be required to take driving tests before they can rent cars. Again, my heart goes out to you.

Yes, i do cos if a lot of people from outside the uk had to do a driving test in the uk they'd fail.Nothing worse than someone not knowing what some of the road signs mean, either that or they don't want to know.

I am sorry for your loss, but yes I think the roads should be tested, but the driver of the other vehicle should be tested, too.
By being in your country the USA drivers should abide by your country's driving laws. Just like our laws should be followed by drivers from other countries. Peace.

I'm sorry that happened. Yes, that might be a good idea. Here in the US an illegal alien can hit you and not really be charged with anything. Illegals are notorious for hit and runs here many times resulting in death and there is nothing to be done about it because they go back to their home country.

i'm so sorry approximately your buddy. Many, some years in the past, I lost some friends that have been in a automobile twist of destiny. It grew to become into very difficult to get previous it, by way of fact we lived on the fringe of one yet another. that's regularly occurring to sense depressed and injury, yet with time you will get lots extra effective, purely take at some point at a time. in case you have a school counselor, pass there and communicate. in case you have different friends, share with them your loss, i'm particular that they are going to assist you. i be responsive to that this may well be a tricky time for you,yet have confidence me you will get by making use of this, purely attempt to concentration. back i'm so sorry with reference to the shortcoming of your buddy and that i actually wish which you're feeling extra effective quickly.

one guy i know died in a hideous crash in a really badly designed rural road.. we tried to get mirrors up to help drivers see better but the council refused saying that it needed to be a designated blind spot area and two more people had to die before it could be called that.. sick
