At this particular moment I cannot see any potential weakness that would jeopardize my job or my ability to work.

Whenever I'm faced with that question I respond in a positive manner. Find out what activity in the new position you'll be doing the most and expand on how you are so good at that. For example take something your really good at and imply that your weakness is that you love to do that activity.

Even though I'm currently employed I will be going to an interview on Monday for a career in a different industry. I know that the new job will depend heavily on spread sheets, fortunately for me I'm a spreadsheet/excel junkie, so that's what I'll say when asked about a weakness.

For my Customer Service position, I advised my weakness is in public speaking; however, I have been working on it by attending meetings with Toastmasters, a public speaking organization. The weakness is actually a common fear and the solution is a well known and respected "cure." Whatever your weakness, make it not 100% related to your job, come up with a way you are working on it, and make sure you are 100% honest in answering the question as it applies to you. The worst thing is to claim to belong to a group you know nothing about.

Most of the time for this question i try to say that

i am sometimes more analytical and time aware and want to see things in a standard way but in reallity things changes deadlines/ project requirement , clint needs etc factors sometimes decides everything giving me no control , which makes me unhappy

Second thing i say normally is
i like to be working on latest tech and new project and a very good starter but not a very good finisher ,
if i get a monotonous job i might not be able to do it for long

Some tips here

In some situations i act in a certain way, then when i think about it i realize i should have acted in a different way.

I put a positive spin on it by taking the right way into consideration and try not to fall in mistakes again.

It would help if you listed your weaknesses so we can reflect on them in our answers!

It also depends on what type of job you are after.

Procrastination? Now you make a list of to-do items and every morning you go over it and make sure you make good headway with the items on your list and you do not put those items off any further and procrastinate.

Sloppyness? Now you take the time to go over each project one more time prior to sending it on and make sure that you clean up any errors and cross every t and dot every i.

Don't lie! Everyone has a weakness and we usually KNOW what they are! Think of how you can improve yourself and be honest with the interviewer and let them know you can spot weaknesses in yourself and you are proactive enough to take steps to make yourself a better worker as a result of that realization.

My weaknesses are that I have not yet learned all there is to know about anything.

I do know how to improve that.
I have no fear in asking questions, researching a subject, and weighing the risks and benefits of my actions before proceeding.
I try to learn from the experiences and positives from others without using trial and error.

I'm 78 and this is still true.

you can say you are good at keeping deadlines. This way i make sure the work is done on time even if it means staying over after work or coming in during the weekend. Makes you sound like the greatest worker around

you choose something that is both good and bad eg for me its im like a bulldog i never let things go - it is both a best and worst feature - another example could be "i talk a lot" then you cover it by saying your a great communicator

The easy answer: I am a perfectionist, and sometimes I have to tell myself I am human, and just to the best that I can.
