I think there still is new fashion. Many people think that if you keep something long enough. It will come back into fashion. Yet, what they don't realize is that nothing ever comes back in the same way. That would be so not modern or today. Take for example. The fashion focus for woman now is pencil slim skirts. Yes they are classic and have always been around for years. Yet, they never come back the same way. The cut today is different to flatter todays woman. Plus fabric play a great role in todays fashion and moving it forward into the future. The fabrics of the 50's and todays fabrics are totally different. Snythetics are just as expensive as your finest silks. So all in all, I still think there is a great deal of newness in fashion. It's the designers that are making it new and not copying from the past.

According to the fashion study every 30 years the same fashion comes back around and just named something else. Such as....30 years ago the FLARE pants (today's name) was in fact called (then) BELL BOTTOMS and instead of low rise jeans they were hip huggers.
