If you're serious, it's because the glue needs contact with air to make it work. Once you open the package it will stick to the inside and completely set up after a period of time, because the cap can not seal the tube completely and air will get in.

Depends on the glue, but usually the container is made of a plastic to which the glue will not stick. Also, as a few others said, it needs air to solidify.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. It's moisture it needs to set, not oxygen. While some say air - this is partially true - it's moisture. And there ain't any inside the tube.

The tube has non sticky surface on its inside.

It does. After you've finished a tube .... cut it open .... turn it inside out .... and watch it stick after it dries .....
