I just read a French report that Osama Laden was dead - my French is a bit rusty but does anyone know if this is true or not. Good ridance if it is.

With virtually the whole of the western world keeping a track of Osama bin Laden, I seriously doubt if this small time newspaper from France actually has its facts right! They say the report is based on French Intellegence which is based on Saudi intellegence which is based on ..... (do i need to keep going?).

I am guessing that Osama is not dead. My reasoning is that if he were dead, George Bush would have already claimed repsonsibility for it. It is close enough to the elections to give the Republicans a bump. Remember the Osama tape that came out right before election day against Kerry in 2004??? Coincidence?????

If he were dead you would not likely hear about it .# One he is like a God to those Terrorists and they want people to keep fighting for him, #2 They wouldn't want the west to take credit for killing him, But when was the last message that showed him and his voice at the same time ? How do we know it is even his voice when we do see him
In the loose change video there is a video of Bin Laden saying he didn't do it (WTC) Frankly,,, I don't know what to believe anymore
One question I would like resolved... What happened to the 200 billion dollars in gold that was in the basement of the WTC

I haven't seen anything, but President Bush said that he was "on the hunt" for Bin Laden just yesterday. Maybe he bagged him! Or more likely, maybe you were reading a report that said that Bush was TALKING about killing Bin Laden.

big kill like bin laden would require a few days to get dna proof before the announcement, otherwise it cold hurt ratings even more coming out saying we got him nd then needing to admit we didnt.
so if we do get him, expect a wait for verification..
as for him being dead, its possible. I thought we had gotten him a few years ago by entombing him in a cave somewhere the way we pounded in those scoopers cave huts.

NO!! osama isn't dead!! Bush is hiding him so he can finally pretend he found him to get re-elected.I don't agree to the violence he caused but I don't wish death on anyone.GOD will handle far better than any man,BELIEVE that if nothing else.
