Found photos in lancaster calif looking for owner?

pic were in wooden frame .there were 20 of them from 1886 to 1930 very littel info with them would love to find owner or family member i know if thay were mine i would be heart broken .Any info would be greatful found in 8/06 thank you

Have you contacted the local genealogical society? They might be able to hold the pictures until the owner is found. Also, ask the local newspaper to do an article on the pictures as a human interest piece.
