New Zealand might not be your best choice, it doesn't take in that many immigrants, you first have to find a job and then the Employer has to explain to the government why they can't find a New Zealander to do the job. Most Employers don't want to go through the bother. They don't allow any other type of immigration. Other countries will let you in if you can prove you can support yourself for six months while you look for a job or have close relative vouch that they will repay the Government should you ever go on welfare or pay for the fare for your airplane ticket home if you haven't found a job in six months. You would have a better chance trying a "six months" country but you have to have the money deposited in one of the countries banks before they will grant the looking for work visa.

I just took this off the NZ gov site, it is the first question.

Do you have a job to go to?

I am not too sure about New Zealand (although i heard they let anybody in). But in Australia it is good. I work in childcare and we have so many multicultral families that all intergrate together really well from South Africans, Asians, Muslims etc.
