That would be interesting (and painful for the mother at birth), but no, I don't think it would be better. They say youth is wasted, but I think you need your youth to be able to appreciate things more when you are older. Life is a learning process where we learn and evolve as we go along.

No. I prefer it the way it is! Coming into the world is hard enough never mind starting off old! Besides no one would want to have children (giving birth to the elderly?!) so the population would stop. It's because babies are so cute that people get sucked into having them. The life cycle is what it is for a reason. Because that's the best way. It's all about growing not regressing. Besides you're still not avoiding death. You still disappear into nothing at the end of it. I think it would be more depressing! Youth isn't wasted on the young! & wisdom isn't wasted on the old.

No, I don't think it would be as good. Part of the wonder of youth is that you have so much innocence and vitality. Imagine having that amazing mental state but in an old person's body. It makes perfect sense that your body is energetic and vital at the same time your mind is, and it makes sense that you have more wisdom when your body is not as youthful. It seems to me that to change that would mess up the natural balance of life.

The birth part would be weird.
I don't think that I could quite cope with that after having already known my mother for a whole lifetime.

it will not make the difference because when you start young you are ignorant and gradually become wiser but end up being ignorant because time changes and you become out dated and you cannot use your faculties which keep failing. When you start old you will again end up ignorant in the end.

yes it could be better but it would be quite the same can 't do some stuff when your to old, can't do some stuff when your young but it could be better since you get to do more things in your teen age years and it's better to remembber the good stuff u did than the boring stressfull stuff u did when you were older.

If you could just answer, "starting old from what age 75, 85, etc.?" we would end stem cell research and genetic engineering today.
