Bleeding from the end of the penis can be due to a number of different causes, including a small tear in the foreskin, but it can also be due to infection or inflammation. It is a good idea for your boyfriend to take a urine sample to his doctor to have it checked. His doctor will probably also want to examine his testicles to ensure there are no obvious lumps, and may suggest sending swabs to check for Chlamydia infection. In most one-off bleeding cases no obvious cause is found, but it is best to be checked, just in case.

Bleeding from the penis is never a matter to be neglected.
I know of one case where the person had just one bleed of a few drops. It never happened after that, but he mentioned it to his doctor at his next checkup some weeks later. It turned out to be bladder cancer. Fortunately, it was caught at a very early stage and he is fine now.

You should visit a doctor or a walk in clinic. These are signs you should not ignore. Something is happening in your body to bring on the bleeding. Make sure you describe anything happening to the doctor to assist in getting a proper diagnosis.

After urination, it could be a bladder infection. After sexual intercourse, testicle cancer. See a doctor and stop putting it into any one until then. You could also have a torn urethra.

It is never normal for blood to come from the penis. Something very serious is going on...go to doctor immediately..CVS and others have a thing called a minute clinic...only $59 to treat urinary tract infections. You can find one on line near you.

Holy smokes that sounds painful. Also sounds like an STD.
If there is a sore on the penis then that would be gonorrhea.

In my day it was called "Gash Man". It happens when you overdo it while in the act or by having too much sex in one day. Its a sign of being overstressed in the groin area. Slow your horsie down!
