I am in New Jersey and my tomatoes did not do well at all this year either. I think it was far too rainy and cloudy this past summer. Last year I had to water them every day for weeks on end and this year I only had to water them once a week or less. Tomatoes like sun and we just did not have it this year.

Here it is almost end of September and I have yet to get my first ripe one; last year by now I had been picking them by the armload.

Try letting more light into the plants try cutting most of the leaves off the plants and don't grow too many plants close together. I water one day and feed the next IF required, I usually put three tomato or cucumber or pepper plants in a growbag, and have been and still are producing fruit now in central Scotland.

Lack of sunlight and cool temps......but pick them off and roll each one individually in a newspaper and put in brown paper bag. They will ripen quickly or just sit in a windowsill..
I canned alot of green ones myself this year and had fried green tomato sandwiches...yummm
