To check the tie rod ends. Jack the vehicle up and use your hand to squeeze the ends of the tie rods. If there is excess play, replace them. To check the bearings, grasp the tire at the top and bottom and wiggle it back and forth. If there is a noise or excess play have them replaced. It would be better to have a qualified tech to check them for you. Good luck.

No question there Your 1992 Blazer will need a complete front suspension overhaul. Any part with play slack will soon hammer it self loose or broken. Don't take chances replace everything axle unt to axle nut and in between. I just went over a cousins 1999 Blazer Jimmy 4x4 79,000 miles Highway miles and there was no salvagable parts $400 wheel bearings $790 bushings tie rods ball joints and he got his labor free. Have you been looking at new trucks lately? You might be spending a small fortune on a 15 year old truck.

Jack the vehicle on stands and move the wheels by hand/ See if there's any movement at the tie rod end when moving it side to side. If there is any strange noises or looseness of the wheel itself, the bearing are going. Hope this helps.

But it on jack stands have some one move the whells left to right and watch the tie rods for play.

Jack it up, place your hands on tire top and bottom pull back and forth. if it moves and cluncks it is Bearing. Now put your hads on side to side. Pull back and forth if it cluncks that way it is tie rod end or bushings.

if you can easily move the the tierod on either side you need to replace them
