At the heart of Christianity should be the concept of 'Unconditional love' In other words there's nothing you can do right or wrong to effect that relationship with God. Didn't Jesus accept everyone just as they were, with love and without expecting a return?. Maybe thats why many who did come into contact with this 'love' did transform, beacuse he allow them to be where they were at!
I think your girlfriend needs to allow you to be you (as jesus would) and maybe then you wouldn't want to be so 'casusal' about her faith, because it's transforming you.

Being yourself is important in any relationship, but if this girl is a devout Christian, it could cause problems and harbor resentment on her and your viewpoints of many different issues and situations.
I really do not want to discourage you, and wish you the best, you should work this out with your Loved one, if you and her are able to find compromises with one another, and the Love you have for one another is strong enough to sustain a long term relationship, then go for it, maybe this is an opportunity for you to learn more about Christianity, if not for anything else...God/Karma....whatever it may be, travels in many different forms. Good Luck, Be Happy!

If you see spirituality casually, then why not then just be casual about your differences. Respect her beliefs and keep your own, that way you would still be true to yourself. If you talk about this with her and she doesn't agree, then it would seem that the she is not respecting your beliefs and differences, so then would it work?
Isn't it interesting how we always seems to fall strongest in love with someone that for whatever reason we can't have?

I once went out with a girl who agreed with me on everything, from politics to religion. It was really, really dull. Differing opinions are good for a relationship.
On the other hand, raving religious freaks are a bit scary.

well you should just respect each others opinions try not to raise the subject alot as you know its something you dont agree on and just get on with being who you are. This shouldn't have to be a problem.

It shouldn't come between you if you don't let it. If you believe in God, that should be enough. You should both respect each others differences.
Hope everything works out.

definitely, i think if a person has faith in himself/herself thats much more than choosing a religion or in general spirituality.
Well, about your girl , you should give strong justifications as to why you are casual or what you believe in .And if she really loves u I am sure she will understand.
