IF RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS OF THE WORLD MEAN POKING OUR NOSE IN THE AFFAIRS OF OTHER COUNTRIES ....THEN INDIA IS THE LAST COUNTRY IN QUE...
INDIANS LOVE PEACE...PROGRESS AND NO PROPAGANDA OF OUR LIKES AND DISLIKES....AND ABOVE ALL WE ARE NO HYPOCRITES LIKE MOST OF THE WEST...WE ARE PROUD OF OUR VALUES AND CULTURAL DIVERSITIES..IN WARS INDIA HAS ONLY ACTED IN DEFENCE AND HAVE ALWAYS LEND A HELPING HAND IN RESTORATION OF PEACE ...WE HAVE NEVER CROSSED THE SEAS TO KILL WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND CIVILIANS UNDER ANY KIND OF PRETEXT EVER.....THIS IS WHAT INDIA IS AND WILL REMAIN THE SAME .....

Considering the fact of more Indians being able to go to the west and settledown there with due citizenery responsibilities even when they are not accorded commensurate citizenery-political power - the westerners cannot but admire the Indians's 'citizen of the world/ capabilities.

How are Indians responsible citizens of the world?
It was only a couple of years ago that india and pakistan were going to nuke each other. India is an up and coming country and with china are adding to the global meltdown that the western countries have caused through the burning of fossil fuels.

I can only judge by the one Indian person that I have met, my brother in law. He's slightly naive, optimistic and hard working. He colours the way I see others from India and my idea of how they are.
Responsible citizens of the world? Who is? Really? I don't think the Indians are worse or better just different from the way we are.

India is a great country but also a land of confusing opposites. In the West we stand up for what we believe in including the war on terror and we don't see that commitment from Indians. I believe this has much to do with the lackadaisical laid-back attitude of people from India ?

I NEVER rate anyone in groups .
I rather like to get to know individuals and either make friends or not from that experience .
I do not Judge others either !
