Greg Chappell would have certainly thrown Sehwag out of the team but, the problem is that: The whole India likes him and he has several fans to support him. So that´s why he can´t even touch him, unlike Ganguly. He threw him out of the team because he wasn´t performing well since 2 or 3 years. So, he hasn´t had many fans of him, to support him. But that´s not the case with Sehwag. He hasn´t performed since just a 2 or 3 months. But sometimes he even plays some good Innings, even when he is going through a lean patch.

Sehwag is a good player. Problem is out of form. I don't think he bribed anyone to just stick in the team.
Indian team doesn't have roll over system like australians, recently they introduced in DLF cup.Now australians got 22 active ODI players in their squad. Their team selection is excellant, sourcing each players indivdual record against each country.
If Sehwag has a bad record against Australia no need to play him against Australia, bring new players into the team or choose from existing source.

Its not shewag that bribed people it is others liek Irfan and Dravid who have bribed to get their spot up the order thinking of a long innings but they failed always. and in turn all the burden on him and he is not able to play his natural game. he should be given his chance to play as a opener along side Tendulkar or Dhoni. He will perform with out any problem even a 30 of 12 balls will be a gud start to the indian innings

Shewag is a natural and gifted player and does not totally follow copy book styles. hence there is a certain amount of lack of footwork in him which he overcomes by his ability to sight the fall early and with the power of the willow. The only problem as i see is that he should not be frequently changed positions and make him to open more times for which necessary practice sessions also should be had. he will be an asset for the world cup.

i too m not much convinced about the berth of Sehwag in the team,. Must b another Ganguly is growin in the Team !!!!.. throw him Out for sometime , atleast then let us hope he plays better, He is One of the player in the team without doin any Job !!!
