They dont.
They desperately need to lose the next election so Tony and Gordon can get a bit of the after dinner speaking cash currently enjoyed by William Haig and Boris Johnsson etc.
The economy is in a terminal velocity dive, we cant afford for every worker to support 2 pensioners a single mother and 3 assylum seekers, so Labour needs an exit strategy fast, et the Conservatives make the hard, unpopular but nescessary decisions so Labour can cme back 4 years later.
The Conservatives and Lib Dems are wise to this and have put no hope leaders in so as to avoid election, well the Lib dems dnt actually have anyone electable, but with Haig, Johnsson, Davies Widicombe etc in the wings the Conservatives have not exactly put their best candidate forward have they

Take a look at the rest of them!! Cloned or what? They are all fully paid up members of the planet Joker they excel in the old fashioned game of musical chairs only when they fail in their seat they are elevated to another department and then suddenly appear titled!

Just imagine when the idiot Blair is finally ousted he and his ferret will also bear a title and so it will go on until the electorate comes to its senses and ceases to vote, only then will there have to be a good old shake up and real people of substance and experience will have to be listened to. People over 60 knew this country when it was properly run.

As to the liberals they are not the force they once were, I was priviledged to know Joe Grimmond when the party had a clear idea and grasp of politics. We need strong leadership and less forelock tugging - where the hell are we heading?

William Hague would get my vote (I believe he was too young when thrust into the leadership) but now he doesn't want the job. What a waste.

Gordon Brown G-d forbid! Too many scots now.

Traditionally, the Labour Party held elections for new leaders. Apparently this is not going to happen this time. Failure to hold an election for new leader will ultimately result in Labour losing the next general election. They have already lost most town halls which they held. The people will vote their choice when the time comes.

I think that is because of the lack of any talent to challenge him really. The only challenger being an education secretary who has no education. Alan Johnson left school with no qualifications.

They are also heartily sick of Tony Blair and his lack of any real socialism. You should bear in mind that Blair's father stood as a Conservative candidate and Blair went to Fettes, Scotland's most expensive school, £26,000 / year currently, these are not the usual credentials for a Labour leader.

Over various months almost all "information" papers have bombarded the electorate of the united kingdom with the most vile hate marketing campaign about Gordon Brown. Even the tories admit that Gordon is an astounding economist, at the same time as the "information" papers attack his record as an economist. Our advice substances are "truly" unreliable. That which we are being instructed is garbage. that's fairly confusing for human beings to style precise conclusions at the same time as all the advice that they are given is "incorrect". i for my section worry for the united kingdom at the same time as the tories take means later at present. even with the indisputable fact that, with their media help, they could commence killing the former to loose housing inventory: and they could nonetheless be portrayed in an outstanding ordinary. The tories won't be able to do any incorrect, no count number what they do. they are interior the favour of our "information" makers!

Silly question.

In a puppet show when one leaves the stage another appears?
This is what you get in a House of voting Muppet's.
If we get as far as the next election MPs might insist on getting a free vote, but I doubt it.
They would be thrown off the gravy train.
