well if your divorced you should have a certificate to proove it if not then unfortunatly your still legally married. My mother made that mistake for 7 years and it turned out that the **** hole hadn't signed the paper work properly. So go back to your solicitor thats dealing with your divorce and get some answers.

i believe u can be divorce and not know it, in some cases if the person can't be found to serve and sign papers, a newspaper notice is written giving 45 days to reply, if reply is not answered the court will grant divorce, same for name changes and adoptions.

call the courthouse. A friend congratulated me on my divorce - saw it in the newspaper. That was a shock to me (bitter, ugly divorce going on 4 1/2 years). I called the courthouse and they confirmed it was not true (yet).

You must have legal papers that you should have signed and been sent a decree absolute to say that your marriage has now been dissolved. If you don't have that then get in contact with your wife, if she can't help then get in contact with your solicitor or the courts and they will help.
