Okay in the movie Purple Rain there is a band in it that also plays at the same club that prince does, the head guy of the band in the movie starts the band Apollonia 6 with Princes' GF in the movie, I was wondering what the other bands name was. Please help it is really bothering me!!

I can't remember but the guy who sang Jungle love his name was Morris in the movie and maybe part of the name of the band.

The name of the band is Morris Day and the Time.
The name of Prince's band in the movie it The Revolution, or The Kid and the Revolution.
In reality Prince heads up all three bands out of his complex in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Paisley Park.
You can find Morris Day and the Time playing in the movie Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, in case you want to confirm this.

For all of you that still wonder about this question, I may have a little clarification. The Honda Silverwing wins. I'm watching the movie as we speak and after Prince drops off Apollonia, a closeup on the bike revealed a huge HONDA. I also think that it may be the 650 vice 500 model.

Michael Colombier & John L.Nelson are the was creditted besides Apollonia. I thought that was a good movie. Really like the soundtracks.
