well the one and only name that is found of cinderella's prince is prince charming.(the english version of the original story that originated in in China around A.D.860).
Prince Charming is a stock character who originates in a number of fairy tales. He is the prince who comes to the rescue of the damsel in distress, and typically must engage in a quest to liberate her from an evil spell. The name has been given to the heroes of a number of traditional folk tales, including Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.
Prince Charming is typically a well groomed adolescent. He frequently wears a sash or ribbon around his princely uniform, and often sports a small, waxed moustache. In many depictions he speaks with a French or British accent.

Edward. Most people call the princes (especially in the Disney movies) Prince Charming. And, in some stories perhaps that is the real name. However, in The Slipper and the Rose his name is Edward.

In the original German tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm, the Prince has no name. Calling him (or anyone else) Prince Charming seems to be a fairly recent convention to give audiences an easy way to identify his personality.

I always thought that's just what they called him, but in Shrek they referred to the Prince as having that last name. That is what they call him in Cinderella--my daughter LOVES that story!

That's what he's called, as far as I know. In the newer Disney cartoons, like the Little Mermaid, they actually gave the prince a name. In the Little Mermaid, he was Prince Eric.
