Definately jewellery needs to be involved for a 25th anniversary. I am not a huge jewellery person like some woman are BUT for a 25th anniversary i think i would be a little disappointed if a nice piece of jewellery wasnt given to me because it is such a special annivesary. A ring (that matches any current rings she wears) or a necklace would be good ideas. Check if she wears gold or silver. Sometimes women change. She may have liked gold in the past but likes silver now because it is more modern.

You can still do something special or novel as well. You could surprise her with a night away in a nice hotel or equivalent. You could take her on a picnic to a park or garden. Include champagne!!

Have fun! and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Take her out for a special dinner, then to a hotel where you have already set up a bottle of champagne, maybe an in room hottub, rose pedals lead the way to the bed, maybe her favorite chocolates on the bed, chocolate covered strawberries, a special card to let her know how much you love and need her. and of course buy her some jewelry 25 is the silver anniversary but gold and diamonds are better!!

Take a trip down memory lane. You two have been married a long time. Remember it for her. I'm sure that you have pictures and mementos from your years passed. Use them. Choose one thing that you two have done that she really enjoyed and build up to it. Perhaps in the days leading up to your anniversary, you could leave small momentous that she will recognize and make her remember. Like I said, build up to it, so start small. When the "big" day finally arrives, blow her away with that one thing that the two of you did that she loved. She will love you more for it and don't forget to tell her each day that you love her and how those momentos are special to you too. You don't have to go to any kind of extravagance. Sometimes simple is the best way to show someone how much they mean to you and how much you have truly enjoyed one another.

Despite not being a party person, perhaps you could invite as many people as possible who were at your wedding to a special dinner or party. Plus all the new friends you have made. Congratulations by the way. That's quite a milestone.

I definitley think a weekend away would be amazing for her! But what my dad did for mum after they'd been together for 16 years was get her a gold bangle (or ring if you can't afford the bangle) and for every year for thier anniversary he gets a diamond put in it as her present. Sentitmental for her and a great way for him of not having to worry about what to get her for that event ever again! Congratulations and i hope you have another 25 years together!

Hot air balloon ride if it is available in your area at this time of year. Complete with champagne and flowers. Diamonds are always special. Have wedding photo made into an oil painting and enlarge.

Take her on a trip to Venice, first class, naturally :)
On a moonlit night, preferably on your anniversary, take her out on a gondola, be dressed in your best suit/tuxedo and let her be wearing a really gorgeous outfit ( of course something she would be comfortable in), and propose to her once again...
I am sure she will never forget it!
By the way, Congratulations!!!

25thg anniversary, woooouu!!! congratulation!
Do something you never don for hear, Say to her something you never Say, i think is very important to do this. I`m shore you will take her something nice but she is a women not a man and this present is not enough, you (i thing) shod to something special and confess her your love. I think we (the men) can take and do anything for our women but the most important thing to do is tell her how much we love her and show this to her. good luck!

Get her set up at a spa to get the whole girl thing done. You know, the nails, hair, petticure, facial, etc... Afterwards take her out to dinner and maybe dancing so she can show herself off. She protest going to the spa at first and absolutely love ya for it after. Did it for my lady and she was on cloud nine for days.
