Does that really ever happen?

My parents first house after they were married had a couple just like them next door, so I grew up with our neighbours kids who were the same age as us, and we'd have baths together and play together and it was like having two more brothers and sisters! And our mums would have tea together and our dads would do barbeques together. It really was like the ideal life! Now we have moved we live with some stroppy bag next door...

Best neighbours are those who know when to join people and when not to interfere. This is for the main question. The details to the question dwells on marrying a girl next door. The problem is for the girl through a neighbour like you.

I think the best neighbour I ever had was a man named Norman, who lived in the bedsit next door. He was very worldly-wise and gave me useful advice when I was dumped by my first girlfriend. He also helped me out with other problems, including changing the screws on my door, so that a screw didn't make contact with a wire each time I put my key in the lock.

I have never married, but I guess that some people have married the girl next door.

MY childhood neighbors were the best.

Being the youngest in the family was like being an only child at times... With out these neighbors to bug almost daily I would of been a hermit.
