Examples. Is a prostitute any worse than a dog lover or a junkie?

I had a couple of guys with learning difficulties. They had been more or less dumped in the community with minimal support. Their social worker had assumed without actually bothering to talk to anyone that all the neighbours would be happy to become, in effect, unpaid care workers and rally round to support. He told these guys that if they had any problems, they should go next door (I was not consulted)
They would wake me up in the middle of the night, demanding that I help with all kinds of problems, like making a cup of tea, finding the channel they wanted on TV, operating the washing machine. They had no idea how to budget, and frequently had no food and no money, and demanded that I bail them out.
The house was in a very unhygenic condition - rotting food was dumped outside of the kitchen, there was always an appalling smell, and they had very anti-social habits, like playing brass band music at full volume, or shouting and screaming at passers by.
When I complained to social services, the implication was that I was a nasty, uncaring bastard!

The worst neighbours we ever had was when we lived in a Jewish area - communal flats - and they decided to force us out. It was a nightmare. Every day we would get a streamof complaints from retired professional people who had nothing to do but wind each other up with complaints. I can give yo some examples. This is the absolute truth.
"You use the garden too much. I pay more rent than you so why do you use it more than me?"
"I saw your son - he swung on a tree branch.!" "Did he break it?" "No, but he could have.!"
"I don't like your son playing in the gardens. What if I want to get changed in the afternoon?"
"Your son should go and play in the park, not in the gardens. (Half a mile away.) He could, (and I swear this is true!) scratch the lawns or snag a bush."
The last thing that happened before we moved (as soon as our leave was up) was when a neighbour called the police. He said our sons were "youths with guns!" They could have been shot. Two boys of 9 and 10 playing cowboys. The police were so angry they wanted to arrest the complainants for wasting police time. I was shocked. My children could have been shot by the police!
We moved as fast as we could We heard later that another couple with smaller children moved in. The new tenant was reduced to tears by their behaviour. It was a disgrace and ever since then, I have become quite anti-Jewish. Not on a personal level, but as a neighbourhood.

My worst neighbours are the ones i have now. Thank god they are renting and moving out soon. The kids are out of control and have no discipline. My fence has a big hole where the daughter put her head through it. The daughter (9) showed my daughter (7) Internet porn sites. The boy (5) screams his head off until 10 every night and the parents wonder why he is so badly behaved. The mother is a complete lunatic who goes off on a screaming fit for no reason at all and has been at my door blaming my children for hers bad behaviour. The dad is so embarrassed he is always apologising. My children are not angels but I am thankful every day that mine know right from wrong and hopefully people don't think badly of them. God help the children next door - all they need is some routine but the parents can't see it.
Thank you - it was really good to get that off my chest!

A prostitute wouldn't bother me as long as she wasn't working from home! I could do without a junkie next door but the worst I had was an old couple who had a neurotic cockerspaniel that went out at 6am every morning and yapped its head off at nothing in particular. I wanted to kill that dog.

A few months ago, my neighbours decided to have a party at 1.30 in the morning. I could hear the loud music through my wall and couldn't get to sleep until the music stopped at about 3 a.m. Several flats complained to the Council and, while there have been occasional bouts of loud music, luckilly the above scenario hasn't been repeated.

A couple who fought all the time were my worst neighbours ever. They were abusive to each other and then to me when I complained to the real estate agent about it. When they got kicked out, the landlord got me to come into the flat and showed me a hole that had been cut into the wall and a glass in it, he asked me what was directly on the other side of that wall, it was my bed. The bastards were listening in on my sex life! Neighbours from hell.

I had neighbours once that would always play lound music at all hours. They even had stereo speakers out on the back verandah. They would drink and sing along and always had arguments wher they would yell and scream abuse at each other. They used to throw the garden furniture around during their fights too. I was lucky I only rented the house so I just moved away!

My worst neighbors are some young students. They do yell and make much noise as they can when the night comes. It took for ever for them to stop.....I usually went to bed at 2 AM at that time.

by the way,I like prostitute. At least,I don't think they should be blamed for doing such a job. They earn their living, they are diligent and brave.

The ones I have now are not so great. The woman is a loud mouth who cusses like a sailor and the man gets drunk and starts complaining about everyone in the neighborhood. Once he got drunk and started throwing rocks at the birds on the fence, he didn't hit a bird but he hit my house and then laughed about it. He really thinks he's cute.

i hate my neighbours to the right of me,their 2sisters who dont work but have cars! they go out late at night and come home at 3/4 in the morning and on sat/sunday have parties that start at 3.00am that go onto 6.00am! they played loud music and shout all over the house at each other and the boys they bring back go outside and shout and be stupid all over the street, waking every1 up! Its sad cus next door to them a couple have disabled kids so they must be up all night with them! 1day i went round cus i hada enough i knocked it was 2 in the afternoon they were still in bed i knocked till they answered and i told the girl and her mates (thought they were gonna jump me cus they were very agresive 2me) that i was knocking on behalf of the whole street cus we were sick of them, and if they carried on i would ring the police and enviromental health because i know there in2 dodgy things, they pooed themselves gave me abuse and have generally been ok since! now an again the music is loud at night so i get up early and play music loud, they go mad and scream through the walls hehe plus i get verbally abused and get threatening looks off them in the street but i dont care! x
