I began a new job as a newspaper editor for my small country town. I began two weeks ago and pay days next week. How much should I expect to get paid?
I have no qualifications and am 21 years old. It's a part time job too.
Could you either look up my hourly rate somewhere or tell me the exact link online to find out? I can't find anything online. I just want to make sure that when I get paid, I'm getting what I deserve. I work hard and the job's full on.

I wanted the job so much that when I had the interview, I didn't think about asking about the wage - my bad.

I'll talk to my employer. Thanks for your answers.

It's surprising you did not ask what your salary would be (shows good business potential) at the time of accepting your job. You could always ask the general question of another newspaper worker, even in a neighboring town, to get an idea of wages in your immediate area. Good Luck and have fun on your new job! Here's to you, the new editor, down the line!
