OK, I'm sure this question must sound really stupid, but I'm just rubbish with PCs! I got an Ipod yesterday, and need to connect it to my USB port. Where is it? I can't find one, my PC is about 4 years old, so does it definitely have one? all help appreciated! x

there must be port with a *ANCHOR* marked over it,well thts USB port.Its quite possible tht it may be in front of cabinate,but usualy it's thr in behind ur cpu cabinate(depending on mode)
there you wld find .... written USB 3 ..or so... with a *anchor* mark over it

Some old PC;s do not have a USB port in that case you would have to get a USB card and install it.
You can have USB ports on the back or front of the case
most are on the back of the case near the main connectors keyboard , mouse etc some have then on the front of the case near the bottom
If you have the manual for the PC it will say if you have one or not

The answers you have received above are good pointers to the location of your computer's USB port/s. All I will add is that there is often a symbol (it looks like a three pronged fork) near the port as an identifier.

if your pc has one, it will be at the back, or at the front, some PCs have a cover over them, that u either have to slide or open to view the port
and thr are chances that u might not have USB port, cause it is four year old PC, if you dont have it, u can buy a card for it, that is not very costly.

I think your pc has no usb ports, you need to buy a usb PCI card and fix it in yur pc.
Its quite simple get a USB 2.0 pci card and all yu have to do is just plug it into the PCI slot on the mother board of yur computer..

USB port is almostly available on the back of your PC with down the mouse port or with the sound port or just in front of your PC.

hey dude!!! evry system gonna hav USB ports on the CABINET either on the front or back side of it..! the newly manufactured systems hav 2 USB ports on the bottom of front side and the remaining 2 ports on the back side for pheripheral devices like printer, scanner, etc... etc...

buy yourself a usb2 card and install in a open pci slot. If you are running windows 98 install driver. Any os after that is plug and play.
