Why does Bush always trying to scare his own people Americans? Everytime I listen to Bush, watch one of his speeches,or read something about him he is always trying to scare his own people. In almost every single speech he talks about terrorists, killing innocent people, evil extremists that want to take our freedom away(which doesnt make sense) cause it seems like he's the one taking our liberties and civic rights away.Always brings 9/11 in to our memories. Listen don't get me wrong what happen was really sad,but why does he have to keep remaining us. It seems like he tries to imbed fear and paranoia in his own people just to do whatever he wants. He always mentions how he wants to bring democracy to other countries, than why is he curbing democracy here in USA.

Because it is the only way to get Americans to support the war....If people weren't scared of possible terrorist attacks...they would not support his agenda of war...

Sigh......you people. What will you say when Bush is out, and the attacks keep on coming?? Wake up!! Terrorism is real. The threat to the entire world is real. And, by the way, Americans do not scare easy. Nor do they blindly follow whatever is said. [unless they're stupid}. Some protest anything just because they can! Without even knowing the facts. Democracy, in other countries, is needed to avoid the psychotic, power hungry demons, and their fanatical, brain-washed followers. And as far as at home goes?? Do you have a clue as to how many terrorists are amongst us right now??? Preparing to wipe out as many of us as possible?? Do you think all of this will go away when Bush is gone?? You're living in a "conspiracy' fantasy land. Open your eyes.

I agree George Bush is an idiot. The whole world is ruled by idiots. politically correct cowardly wimpy idiots.
I did not vote for the stupid man who hasn't had an idea of his own in his whole life. He is the worst example of a professional politician I have witnessed since Richard Nixon. I don't think he knows how to relate to people, and so when faced with having to answer questions from people he reverts back to something he knows we are not going to want to hear and that way he does not have to answer the hard questions, that he does not have a clue what is going on with.
He does not listen to anyone. He finds out we are unhappy and a problem exists, 6 to 7 months after it was brought to the public's attention. He does not listen. He just blithely goes golfing or plays tennis, or fallsoveer his own feet, and entertains himself with all his families OIL money. He will do the quick fix when finally the thing gets intolerable and out of control, and that is always to throw money at it and we don't have any more to throw.
We cannot stand 2 more years of this idiot people, We are going to fall at the hand of an idiot. They are going to come in here and repossess all of America cause we got no way to pay our debts to these countries we have borrowed so heavily from. What if they call those loans in like they would you or I at the bank. They can come in and take our country legally by our defaulting on a loan made to us to fight someone elses war.
the man is an idiot.

You call 9/11 sad. It was evil and a act of War against our country. How does trying to protect us, take our liberties away? He must remind Americans of the world war against terror. Look at the countries that do not remind their citizens of this war. The attacks continue there.
The right to plan and succeed in killing Americans in and out of this country is a right that needs to be eliminated.

Because he knows most people would not support the war in Iraq if they didn't think they were fighting a war on terror. He wants to scare people into voting for republicans by implying that democrats would not keep us safe. He also wants to distract us from other things that are going on in this country cause of his bad presidency by keeping our attention on the war and on terrorism. Yes, it is an issue but it's not the only issue this country is facing.

I think that people in America are a bit unconscious of the world outside of their land, especially the land across the atlantic. You must not think it's safe all the time. Reminding of the event helps keep a constant vigilance on our surroundings. I don't agree with all he says but remembering is really important.

Just where is he incorrect? What he is saying is being evidenced daily.. how blind have you become, you don't even see it.?? Seems like you have really caught on to all the leftist rhetoric.. keep it up.. most of the people are very aware of where you and others like you stand. You are not convincing in your argument. Most people know exactly what is going on and are very concerned.

If you were only minutely informed, you would already know there are more than 50 terrorist cells located just above our northern border. The ones in this country are not being presented but they are continuing to pick them up. Perhaps you haven't heard about that either. Is about time you wake up and see what is actually taking place relative to terrorists and the threat they pose to this country.

He is only telling the truth. I know that may not be popular or trendy where your from, but I would rather have the truth than a mouth full of platitudes from a "cradle to the grave" socialist politico.

Because he scares people into voting for Republicans. If people think logically, then they'll vote Democratic. Bush is desperate so he must use fear.

He isn't. There are some nasty people in the world, and if Americans don't deal with them, they will carry out their declared intention to kill Americans. This is not rocket science.
