i had the implant removed about 6 weeks ago. I had a period four days after removing it (which lasted 7 days as normal), I have not had a period since (to my calculations i am over a week late), i have done 4 preg tests which have all been negative.

Is there anyone that could give me some advice on this?

Implanon screws up your cycle for a while i concieved about 4 months after having the implanon removed (planned pregnancy) whislt i was calculating my periods after coming off the implanon i was going overr 2 weeks late give it a month to 2 months for your body to re adjust to not having the implanon and your periods will get back to normal.

Good luck

i had the implanon fitted and it was a pain in th ar*e!!! bled for 3 months, then didn`t have a period atall for nearly a year, then bled for nearly 6 months!!! it was an absolout nightmare. i got it out about 7 months ago and have only had 2 periods since. do you want to fall pregnant?if not,you can go on the pill for a few months to regulate your period but if you are trying to get pregnant then i suppose all you can do is keep trying and maybe buy a test once a month. you should really speak to your doctor as he will give you the best advice..........i was told i could fall pregnant as soon as it was removed,so take precautions if you don`t want to fall pregnant. when i didn`t have a period for all that time,i always thought i was pregnant!!!!!!
