They weren't judged for it.

I will explain this for you:

Bill Clinton didn't disobey the 4th amendment by creating legislation that violated separation of church and state.

Bush, on the other hand, has continued to create such legislation such as HR 921 which creates a Faith-Based Initiatives headquarters within the Homeland Security department.

Bush knew that Congress would never allow him to disobey the constitution he swore to uphold when he took office; so, Bush used his executive order powers to bypass congress.

That's just one example and one difference between a spiritual president and a Christian Extremist one.

Bush isn't judged for his religious "feelings" either. Bush is criticized for his religious LEGISLATION, and there is a huge difference. Kennedy went to church, but he respected the constitution and the seperation of church and state. Carter was deeply religious, but respected the seperation of church and state. Reagan was a very religious man, but did not ally his political agenda with the christian coalition, and respected the seperation of church and state. Bush, however, is in the Christian coalition's back pocket, and attempts to legislate Christian morality and beliefs, completely disregarding the constitution and the spirit by which this nation was founded. So, people are quite scared when Bush begins espousing his beliefs, because they know it will soon wind up on a legislative bill.

Because the majority of people sincerely doubt his religious convictions.

Not judging anyone but if you
talk the talk- people expect to see THE WALK!

Some people aren't to be trusted based on the standards they reflect.
One can Profess salvation but not possess salvation.

Making a living or making a life is not the same.

Bush is very clear and outgoing about his faith and it helps determine his decisions, perhaps unlike the others. Bush has made it very clear that he believes things like gay marriage and abortion are not only unhelpful to the nation but wrong. Because he has strong convictions on those issues, the liberals and homosexuals hate him.

We are also living in a more secularized age, thanks to the ACLU and others trying to secularize our nation, where religion is not looked upon as a good or positive thing.

No other president has worn his religion on his sleeve, or used it to generate loyalty from fanatical fundamentalists the way W does. It is reminiscent of Hitler, when he claims to 'talk with God' and says that 'God told him to do x' and other crazy nonsense.

Also, W's manipulative style represents the worst of religion. He came by his religion through his weakness for alcohol and cocaine, which makes him a characterless cripple rather than a man of conviction.

I can't think of a less credible way to express oneself.

President Bush can and has expressed his personal religious views.

However, to answer your question, no other President has used his personal views to impose a war.

He can and does and that to me shows his true convictions. You have to understand that George Bush beat a political machine in 2000 and then rubbed their nose in it in 2004. No matter what he does , this machine he beat twice is vindictive to the end. No matter what he does or says he will have swipes against him, until such time the machine has control again.
machine = liberal Democrat.

Because in this day and age, our liberal masters are scared to death of anything that smacks of the truth.
Faith scares them rigid.
There's one thing guaranteed to put the Willy's up a liar and that is to hear the truth.
