Roots is an excellent book, and you should read it.

Nothing wrong with it. I saw the movie several times.
It's more the story of "one family" that was brought over as slaves, and not so much a story about "the slaves".

There is nothing wrong with it. I considered it to be well written and the TV miniseries was done very well.
