My favorite Harry Potter book was number 3. Harry Potter and the prisoner of Askaban. In my opinion, it was extremely original and quite impressive. Plus, my favorite character showed up, Sirius Black, who is not only hot, but also tough and smart, and mysterious. The turning at the end was cool, and it seemed to me the story in the third book was the most developed and well-thought. The Dementors, the stupid traitor/rat and the owners of the Marauders' Map were all new and exciting, and Professor Lupin and Buckbeak were such nice touches. So, as it is the most original, the most exciting, and a combination between thriller, comedy, SF and drama, I say it is the best. Sirius and Lupin rock! Yeah!

I really feel like the first one was the best. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It gave us the beginning of Harry Potter and we saw what his life was like. We we introduced to all the main characters and how each would play a role in Harry's life. We were introduced to his friends and his enemies. I just think that it's the best book in the series. I've read them all. I can't wait for the final book. I just really hope that they don't kill Harry off. I hope nothing happens to Ron or Hermione either.

I'm a big fan of Harry potter...I mean the books only...and for me Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire is the best..even the film couldn't figure out the real picture of J.K's imagination on this series...it's too good to adapt as a film...

I think the first one was the best one. I consider it something of pure class. It has the surprise element, the drama, the thrill. It was written when the writer was hungry. All the other times she'd had too much to eat. Not that I don't like the latter ones but the first one has all the simplicity that one can hope for.

I think I choose the 6th book for the best one.in this book, J.K.Rowling was successful in making different locations, positions, emotions and conversations. I think that she made all the chapters in a very good order and could make me sit in front of computer for 6 or 7 hours and read the translated book ( that i had downloaded from Internet). I think the 5th book was the worst.....do you want reasons for this one?it's obvious!!!

I've read them all and love them all. If I had to pick just one, that would be the 3rd book (The prisoner of Azkaban) because Sirius makes his appearance and for the first time Harry realizes that he's not all alone.
