I have a system with windows98SE and XPpro. with bsnl broadband connection. After deleting a software in 98SE ,now i am not able to use the connection in 98SE. So i started to use XP pro. Is there a way to make my broadband work in 98SE. PLZ help me guys.

I don't exactly remember the software name also the system detects the ethernet card and it works properly in Xp pro. I tried to make the connection use make connection but only my dial-up modem opetion is available.Is ther any site from where broadband software can be downloaded.

reinstall the broadband software or at least the drivers for your modem back on the win 98se system

You didn't say what software you deleted in 98SE. If, for example, you deleted the "Network Client" in Windows 98SE or if the software you deleted was attached to it, you may not be able to use that OS until you reinstall the client. Also, how are you connecting to your broadband connection?

first get to know somehow which software have u uninstalled.

if its a system software then try repairing the windows 98SE using the boot disk and see if u can connect to the internet,.....

ithink that should be enough for the problem u are facing right now;.....

You may have deleted the broadband set up software from 908SE. Please reinstall the same.

try going into your computer and go to internet ops then click broadband.
