Cricket is my best sport. Each teams has 11 players. There are 3 referees called umpires. An umpire has to make a toss at the start and if a team wins the toss is chooses to bat or bowl.
The game is played easily. The bowlers are put around the field so that he will catch the ball. There is one bowler, one wicket-keeper and the rest are fielders to catch the ball if the batsmen hits it. The bowlers aim is to get 10 wickets and the batsmen's aim is to score as many points called runs as he can. The bowlers get wickets by mainly knocking down the bails(two small wooden sticks) on top of stumps (sticks which the bails are put on top). Another way to get wickets is if the batter hits the ball and the fielders, bowler or wicket-keeper get it before it bounces because one it bounces it's too late. The last way to get a wicket is to score a run out (while the batsmen is running the fielder, wicket-keeper or bowler thows it to the stumps making the bails fall down) The batsmen score runs in either of these three ways:
1. make the ball reach the boundry line
2. The bowler makes the ball too far where the batter can't reach it so it's called a wide ball
3. it's a no ball ( when the bowler throws the ball closer than it's supposed to or when it goes so high without bouncing)
4. the batter runs to the bowling crease
When the ball reaches the boundry it is either 4 runs or 6 runs. It's 4 runs when it bounces before it reaches the boundry and it's 6 runs when it goes to the boundry without bouncing.
When the bowler got it's 10 wickets it's team has to bat. Suppose the former batsmen got 250 runs, then the former bowler which is batting now has to get 251 runs to win.
Cricket is mostly played in England, Sri lanka, India, Pakistan, West Indies and Canada. Hope this is good information.

Cricket is a game mainly played in England, West Indies and Australia. The aim of the game is to score points. To do this, when the ball is rolled to you, you must hit is and run back and fourth to score points. It can last for DAYS and is famous for being utterly boring :)

The insect is also a young man`s golf. Nearly half the players watch the match themselves. More than half can watch the match most of the time. It`s a game where you can earn a lot by winning and a lot more for losing.
