Its not about ages its about your body's physical development. Your body starts when its ready to. Girls start between the ages of 8- 15 years old. If you haven't gotten it by 16 see a doctor you may have a hormonal problem. You will get your period until you reach menopause.

Do what? What age does a girl have to be before she gets her period? Is that your question? If so there is no certain age most girls 11-17 with the majority of them getting their first period around the age of 13 or 14. Then women will have their periods until they reach and complete menopause.

i have known girls that started their period as young as nine and My grandmother didn't go through menopause until she was almost seventy. Different people have different chemical make-up so there is no certain age to start or stop.
