i have an idea in my head for a very odd truck i would like to take an early 90's ford crew cab 4x4 and put a stepside bed with dual tanks shell out the entire engine compartment and putting in a bored out straight six with a five speed stick shift and put anything lund anywhere i can so the question is what do you think any opnions are fine and at the end tell me your favorite truck and car

Straight 6 eh? - Several years ago I saw a group of "Outlaw" wheel standers on a 1/4 mile track in Ohio (National Trails). As I recall there were a couple of inline 6's in that group. Highly altered vehicles turned mid 8's in the 1/4. Blown and injected of course.

Why a straight six ? beside i dont beleive they made a step side box that will fit the frame. For dual gas tanks you would need a f150 that had a long box so that there would be dual tanks already. Also i beleive i may be wrong but the step side only came as an option on short bed trucks meaning wheelbase is shorter so the bos would be too short plus you wont be able to put dual tanks nless you customize the whole thing which in that case if your spending all that money on a truck that your are doing what you want it is not woth it and it will end up in the junk yard for scrap

sounds cool i like fords 300ci straight six
would be great if you can run a dual exhaust
like my Jaguar XJ6
