It's ok if you are embarrased. all women go through this stage, your mom did too once. It is a compliment for you to trust and go to her to ask her to buy something for you that is a major event in your life! you may be embarrassed, but I have a daughter, & I look forward the day I can share this event, and hopefully it will be fun.......Its all in your attitude, and what you too, make of this. :)

Mum I think we need a girly day out shopping and all the other girls in my class are starting to wear a bra i think I would like to be measured for my first bra!!!!!! Good Luck. My mum tried to tell me that I didn't need one yet but I said well can I just get measured.she agreed and the nice M&S lady anounced that I needed a 32 A. Mum had to agree. My older sister was gutted (she didn't have any boobs yet).

She's your mom. Just go ask. I'm sure she'll be excited to help you shop for one. My mom sort of told me it was time to wear a bra all the time once I started showing. I used to just wear bras when I felt like it when I was young. I grew around 10 years old and kept growing and had to buy a real bra not just a training bra like my friends.

may be write her a little note in an envelope labeled"private" where she will see it sometime when you are not there so she can plan a time. Something like : I love u mum for all the nice things you do for me. Your little girl is growing up and needs some shopping for new underthings, like a bra. Thanks.

Mum, can you take me shopping. I need you to help me get a bra.
(Sweetie, all moms have been through this when they were girls. They know it's kinda embarrassing, but sometimes mums are embarrassed themselves to bring up the issue with you. So be brave. Mum may be waiting for you to ask because she is embarrassed to ask you if you need one!)

All you have to say is "mum, I think its time I wore a bra, could you buy one for me please". Its as easy as that, your mum will be expecting it soon and i'm sure she will have noticed how you are developing, there is nothing to be embarassed about.
