When I went there, I didn't leave the beach. There are tons of these cute little huts along the beach where you can sit and have dinner and drink a beer. It was fun. The beach is beautiful up and down it's coast. I rented a bicycle and went to a few towns fairly far from where I was staying. I know you don't want a website, but I'll give you one anyway.

Venkatesh, I've been to GOA and it is great fun. The most famous places are Panaji, Vasco and Madgaon. You can visit Dona Paula, Colva beach, Calangute beach, St. Xavier church, Mangeshi temple Miramar beach, Aguda fort, Vagator beach etc. and enjoy the Goan delicacies...
