I am in 10th standard in Gujrat in India.
I ranked first in 9th,but in 10th a new boy ranked first.
what can i do to beat him?

Never try to compare with others. Try ur best to prepare well for the exams.

You have to study harder.
You have to look ur weakness just like may be you are in mathematics. just try yo improve it.
You can not fight a battle with some strong soldiers and other weak soldiers.
Look at his strenghts..Prepare and plan for it.
take it like a challange a healthy challange ..
Winners dont do different things , but they do the things differently.
Dont be tense but be aware.
And believe it..You can do it.

...you must continue to work the same way and as u have got a competitor now find out wht subject he is weak in and u make tht subject ur strong point..and continue wid other subjects as u were doing then u will beat him up..there are many tactics this is one of them

complete the syllabus taught in the class on that day itself. revise it the next day before going to the school, early in the morning. this, i think not only helps you to stand first, also grows Ur self-confidence, i believe.
