Hey you're mum's a woman too. She'll probably remember the first time she asked her mum for a bra.I you're still not convinced that it won't be embarrassing, next time your out shopping take her into any of the girls shops and comment on how pretty the bras are and mention how all the girls at school are wearing them, hopefully she'll get the message and buy a you a couple.

Hey mom can we talk. I have gym this year and I need a bra.
They are very uncomfortable to wear. I hated mine at first. Even though I really wanted one. I promise you that you will get to the point that you wont even feel that it is on. I suggest get a regular one and a sports bra they are far more comfortable.
Good Luck with the over the shoulder boulder holder. Oh yeah you asked for nonembarrassing. Sorry. LOL.

Why do you want one? Are you the only one in your class without one, for example. Do you need one? Work out what you want to say. And then tell her you feel embarrassed because you don't have one.
If you're being teased, she will listen. If you need one, she should have noticed unless she's too busy.
All the best xxxx
BTW - my daughter is 11 too, but she won't wear one! They're sitting in her drawer. And I'm quite pleased because she doesn't need one and I'd like her to enjoy her freedom.

The best thing to do is sit down and talk to your mom face to face. Mothers are there for you and are aware that there will be a point when your body changes and you will need their support and advice. Sit down with her and tell her you are ready to go shopping for undergarments. Your mother will understand and it will be a bonding and growing up time for you two to share together. Good luck!

You want to wear one because your friend is wearing. Just tell your mom I want to wear a bra. Simple.
